It was 1.47 am on Friday. My eyes were still freshed although I had to wake up earlier to fetch darling sister, Palin at Changi Airport from Manila.. And my hands were practically itchy over the keyboard , engrossedly surfing the net,at the same time, planning for my future after this year. As some of my family members and friends knew working in the pharmaceutical sector upon graduation is not my forte. Well, I’d rather work in a fun, loving environment which may include challenges through physically or mentally. I wanna work in a sector that i will truly enjoy, and leave me an experienced that i will never forget in my lifetime. Some friends knew over my enthusiastic to be a Paramedic, and yes, even before i enter RP, i almost got in for the Paramedic Interview with the SCDF. But i cancelled/postponed it halfway through because i passed my Private Os and got into RP. But after a while, as i think again, well, i loved to travel.
On the other hand i loved being adventurous and away from people and maybe survived on my own in a Foreign Country, provided if i had that $1,000 000 in my bank, or lived in a huge bungalow on the hill facing the beach. I do not know, will i be able to survive if i were to become an air stewardess one day. It’s not about the glamor career,tight schedules and hardly had time for your loved ones..but it’s all about passion to serve passengers well with oriented customer service provided and as you’re at thousands feet above the sea level, the passengers live lies in your hand. The opportunity to travel around, meet new circle of friends, the opportunity to learn different languages, and of course to do something that i will definitely enjoy.
Mom always advice me, “if you have the passion, go for it..”
I hope i still have the passion to be like one in a year time. If only i am the current graduating batch this year, i would have downloaded the cabin crew application form and go for the SIA interview this saturday.Darn. Missed one chance.
Oh yes, i want and need to learn basic swimming first.HEHE.
One of the questions found in the the application form which stated,
“Are you able to swim without a life-jacket?”
THAT IS A STRAIGHT YES. And that question made me excited. Well, i hope that dream will come true. I had my plans done after my year 3 in RP. Hope everything goes well. RP, stop torturing me.Quickly graduate can?!
